In a harrowing incident on the MBTA, a male suspect has been arrested for allegedly sexually harassing two young girls. According to the MBTA Transit Police Department's X feed, the arrest occurred yesterday at around 7:30 PM near Andrew Station.
The authorities reported that, while investigating the harassment complaint, they discovered the suspect was carrying a highly realistic Glock replica in his waistband, adding a dangerous twist to the already troubling situation, and upon further investigation, it emerged that the suspect also had an active warrant out for his arrest his homeward journey abruptly rerouted to the precinct instead.
The unidentified man now faces charges including annoying and accosting persons of the opposite sex, which under Massachusetts law, could lead to a significant fine and potentially even imprisonment. The incident raises serious concerns about safety on public transit, especially for minors who are vulnerable targets for such predatory behavior.
