When the family’s dog began to bark amidst the altercation, Holmes purportedly struck it with a gas can. Holmes' brother's attempt to intervene was met with Antonio allegedly pointing a handgun at him. It was then that the mother's dog entered the room and was fatally shot.
Holmes' rap sheet includes a criminal history that traces back to 2022. He now faces charges of possession of a firearm, evading arrest, animal cruelty, and two counts of reckless endangerment, as reported by DogTime. Bond for Holmes has been set at a steep $100,000 as he remains in custody, per information by WREG News Channel 3.
