Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill found himself at the center of a commotion during a Kevin Hart comedy show in Atlanta. TMZ reported that Hill was allegedly involved in a confrontation with a female attendee at the Coca-Cola Roxy theater on Friday night.
The dispute kicked off when a woman claimed Hill was occupying the seat she had paid for, however, the NFL star reportedly kept his cool and tried to defuse the situation by walking away. "Hill did not get physical with the woman," the Fox News report stated, a move that likely helped to prevent the scenario from escalating further. Thereafter, a "male companion" of the woman inserted himself into the altercation, an altercation that ultimately involved other members of Hill's group.
According to the Miami Herald, security at the venue managed to break up the dispute before authorities from the Cobb County Police Department arrived on the scene. Representatives for the Coca-Cola Roxy have yet to offer a comment on the incident.
The recent altercation comes on the heels of some more personal turmoil for Hill, who is currently contending with a lawsuit. An influencer, Sophie Hall, has accused him of charging at her, and breaking her leg during what was meant to be a friendly football game last summer. Hill could potentially be on the hook for up to $75,000 in damages, as per the lawsuit filed in Broward County circuit court.
