Two men, identified as Julius Schields, 27, and Shamarion Schields, 19, were nabbed by South Precinct Patrol officers for allegedly committing an armed robbery in a parking lot on 242 Twin Oaks Drive this past Saturday. The quick-thinking cops pounced on the suspects following a review of home surveillance which captured the criminal act and the getaway car, a white Hyundai Elantra.

The suspects attempted to evade police but were spotted on Antioch Pike and subsequently apprehended at a convenience store/gas station located in the 1200 block of Antioch Pike. An item critical to the case, the victim's wallet, was recovered from their car along with a handgun outfitted with a tan magazine, and a mounted light stashed under the driver's seat.

According to a statement released by the Nashville Police Department, Julius Schields, the alleged gunman, is no stranger to the law. Having been previously convicted for similar crimes back in 2017, he now finds himself facing charges that include aggravated robbery, being a felon in possession of a handgun, and a parole violation from his 2022 robbery conviction.

Shamarion Schields, meanwhile, was out on bond for aggravated assault and unlawful handgun possession at the time of his latest arrest. Now, he's been charged again for aggravated robbery. The bond has been set at a steep $75,000 each for, the brothers.
