Kaitlin's family, stricken with grief, looks to the community for support in their quest for justice. Crystal Rodriguez, her aunt, stated in an interview obtained by Fox San Antonio, "Nobody can hide forever, the truth always comes to light. Just like my niece had to go to the light, the truth will come to light. I have faith that we will get justice and we will get this monster out there before he hurts any other family."
While no arrests have been made, the San Antonio Police Department has interviewed at least two men regarding the case.
