The South Miami Police Department is on the hunt for a suspect linked to a series of burglaries, including a break-in at Rice Mediterranean Kitchen. According to WSVN, the thief was caught on camera shattering the front glass of the establishment, on February 18, and making off with the cash register containing around $800.

Police believe this isn't an isolated act. In fact, the same perpetrator is thought to be responsible for at least two other burglaries the same night. The store's manager, opting to remain unnamed, described the scene, detailing "He broke the glass in the front door, to came in," adding, "Also, he walked inside of the kitchen, you know, trying to look for more money." In separate footage obtained by Local 10 News, the brazen criminal is shown disconnecting computers before he makes his escape.

Sgt. Fernando Bosch of the South Miami police emphasized the gravity of the situation, stating to Local 10 News, "We believe he committed two other burglaries that night." The police are ramping up their efforts to catch the smash-and-grab bandit who still remains at large.
