
A citywide search is underway for a missing 13-year-old girl, Davina Blackman, who was last seen in the Bronzeville neighborhood of Chicago. The Chicago Police Department circulated a notice, asking the public for any information regarding Davina’s whereabouts.
According to the notice published on the Chicago Police Department's website, young Davina Blackman vanished from the 4200 block of South St. Lawrence on March 6, 2024. Standing at 5 feet 3 inches and weighing 105 pounds, the African American teenager has brown eyes and black hair. She was last seen by her family, who now surrounded by community members, are grappling with her unexplained disappearance.
Authorities have issued a description of Davina, stressing her medium complexion as an identifying feature. The police urge anyone with information that could lead to locating Davina to contact the Area One Detective Division immediately.
The urgency of the situation is palpable, as the police and Davina's family ask residents to keep their eyes open for any sign of the 13-year-old. The investigation is ongoing, and every second is critical when a child goes missing, stated the Chicago Police.
