The Broward Sheriff’s Office has intensified its efforts to find 13-year-old Leah Jones, who has been missing since Monday morning in Dania Beach, Fla, officials said on Saturday. Deputies are asking the community for any information leading to the teenager, who disappeared nearly a week ago.
Leah was last seen around 7 a.m. on April 8, near the intersection of North State Road Seven and Southwest 52nd Street, the Broward Sheriff’s Office reported. Detective Chris Blankenship has spearheaded the plea for public assistance, "Leah — who is 5-foot 2-inches tall and weighs about 110 pounds — was last seen at 7 a.m., Monday, in the area of North State Road Seven and Southwest 52nd Street." Blankenship emphasized, conveying the urgency of the situation in a statement obtained by Local 10.

Additionally, the sheriff's department disseminated an appeal through social media, with a post on X detailing Leah's last known whereabouts and physical description.
