Hialeah Police are ramping up their efforts and asking for the public's help to locate a missing 72-year-old man, Abilio Alpizar. On Sunday evening, authorities issued a Silver Alert in hopes to quickly find Alpizar, who vanished from his home in Hialeah, WSVN reported. He was last seen at his residence along the 7100 block of West 17th Court.
The missing senior stands 5 feet, 10 inches tall, weighs roughly 220 pounds, and is distinguished by his gray hair and eyes. He was last noted to be wearing a light blue dress shirt with black pants and shoes. Detectives believe he might be driving away in a white 2013 Chevrolet Equinox, with the Florida tag L1NUQ. A license plate reader detected the vehicle in Davie at around 1 p.m., but its whereabouts remain unknown, according to SpotOnFlorida.
Local authorities are concerned for Alpizar's safety and are urging the community to remain vigilant. Anyone with information on his whereabouts or those who may have seen his vehicle is encouraged to quickly contact Hialeah Police at 305-687-2525. Detective F.
