HIALEAH, Fla. - The Hialeah Police are hot on the heels of a man accused of a vile invasion of privacy at a local Goodwill store, and they're calling on the public to help put a name to his face. On the afternoon of March 3, the suspect, described as a male, made his way into the thrift shop at 4410 West 16th Avenue, seeking a female to fall prey to his unsavory intentions. According to a WSVN report, he loitered until he could position himself in the dressing room directly adjacent to an unsuspecting woman.
Police disclosed that the 49-year-old victim, while in the vulnerable act of undressing, caught the man, reaching over with a cell phone to clandestinely film her—his device in hand, recording her without consent or knowledge. Waiting for the woman to become aware, the man fled the store promptly before she could confront him or alert store staff, said authorities. As the suspect bolted, the victim hurried to the front—but the man was already gone, the fleeting figure of a predator in the urban wild. In a statement obtained by CBS News Miami, the police emphasized the seriousness of the crime and the urgency in identifying the perpetrator.
The Hialeah Police Department has taken to social media, sharing surveillance photos and urging anyone who might recognize the man to step forward. The department is actively engaging with the community, circulating images of the suspect that were captured on Goodwill's cameras. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Hialeah Police Department at (305) 687-2525.
