Law enforcement officials from the San Antonio Police Department arrived on the scene at the 6600 block of Desilu Drive, close to Wurzbach Road, at approximately 12:53 a.m. following reports of a shooting in the area, according to KENS 5.
The man, reported to be in his 20s, was quickly located by police with an injury to his lower extremity. He related to the officers that his wound was not sustained on the residential street but rather, he had been shot at a nearby gas station. The gas station in question, situated just before 1 a.m., was shattered by the abrupt violence and is currently at the center of the investigation with police looking to identify and apprehend the assailant, as confirmed by FOX San Antonio.
