The search is on for Galiea Jones Duncanson, an 11-year-old girl from Miami Gardens, who has been reported missing, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement rang alarm bells Tuesday afternoon with the issuance of a Florida Missing Child Alert, locals are urged to keep a keen eye out for the youngster.
Last seen at around 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, in the vicinity of her residence on the 2400 block of NW 155th Street, Duncanson's description has been widely circulated; she stands 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighs approximately 160 pounds, and is distinguishable by her brown eyes and black hair, according to details provided by WSVN.
When Duncanson went missing she donned a blue shirt paired with vibrant leggings and was carrying her Powerpuff Girls backpack, a Hello Kitty ink stamp decorates her left hand. Notably, police have shared that Galiea has been diagnosed with autism and is likely moving around on foot, according to the alert issued by FDLE on X.
