In the shadowed aisles of a Lowe's in Mt. Juliet, a crime was forestalled thanks to the sharp surveillance of local police officers. A suspicious vehicle with a suspended tag was the beacon that drew the attention of patrolling officers, ultimately leading to the arrest of three wanted individuals believed to have planned a theft at the home improvement emporium, the Mt. Juliet police conveyed.
A report by WKRN details that the event unfolded on April 5 at the Paddocks shopping area, as the vigilant officers executed their duties. The suspects, each carrying the weight of past criminal warrants, were detained before they could fulfill what was suspected to be their nefarious intentions. One, a 36-year-old man from Lebanon, had a dark cloud of aggravated burglary and criminal trespassing hovering above him from Jackson County, another, a 30-year-old from Nashville, was tagged with a shoplifting warrant in Wilson County, and the last, a 31-year-old male, also from Nashville, was haunted by a missed court date in Greene County.
According to a WSMV article, not only were the men suspects in a planned robbery, but a search of their vehicle revealed more than illegal intentions. Officers discovered Fentanyl, adding another layer of severity to their alleged criminality. The swift intervention by the Mt. Juliet police not only thwarted a potential retail theft but also possibly prevented the circulation of hazardous substances.
