Nashville Teen Bandit Quartet Arrested Following Police Helicopter Chase, Stolen Goods and Firearms SeizedSource: Metropolitan Nashville Police Department

In a takedown ripped right from the silver screen, a crew of teenage bandits found their crime spree abruptly ended by Nashville cops. The night's score was the recovery of a stolen silver 2015 Chrysler 200, where detectives from the Violent Crimes Division nabbed the four young suspects, as per an official release from the Metro Nashville Police Department.

On the day of the incident, a police helicopter was already in the air to quickly track down a stolen Chrysler. The helicopter spotted the stolen car from above and witnessed three teenagers holding two men at gunpoint outside Mosaic Apartments on Patricia Drive. The three teenagers then scrambled into the stolen car that was driven by an 18-year-old named Tha Wah, and tried to make a run for it. Meanwhile, police officers on the ground managed to stop the car on Murfreesboro Pike at East Thompson Lane. Although Wah and his partners in crime, Nathan Naw and Saw Say, both 18, attempted to run away, they were quickly apprehended. The fourth suspect, Htoo Moo, just 15 years old, remained in the car.

The search yielded more than just the culprits: inside the Chrysler, officers found two handguns, a stash of marijuana, and about $1,600 in cold hard cash. A further probe of two homes on Luna Drive and Darlene Drive turned up another stolen handgun, a cache of various caliber ammunition, and pepper spray—they weren't messing around, according to Nashville.gov.

The trio of legal adults—Naw, Wah, and Say—are now each staring down the barrel of charges including aggravated robbery, attempted aggravated robbery, and motor vehicle theft. They're cooling their heels in jail. Meanwhile, Moo is facing his own aggravated robbery charge but in the Juvenile Court system. The story isn't done yet—the investigation is to thoroughly uncover any additional robberies these four might be connected to.
