The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is mounting a search for Melissa Marie Garcia, a 40-year-old woman last seen getting an early morning workout in at Orangetheory Fitness, according to officials and local reports.

Garcia, identified as 5'7" and weighing 180 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, did not return home from her fitness session on April 23 since her last spotting at approximately 6 a.m. on Pat Booker Road in Universal City, as per KENS 5.

The disappearance has sparked concern, particularly since Garcia, known for her routine of returning home post-workout before heading out to work, did not show up for her job on April 24, and she was last observed dressed in black leggings and workout clothes, she is also known for driving a blue 2017 Nissan Versa; if any person with potential leads or information, they are encouraged to promptly notify the Missing Persons Unit, advised the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office.

Familial anxiety is on the rise with Garcia's whereabouts currently unknown, and there exists speculation that Melissa may have traveled to the Houston area, with deputies pursuing all leads, as FOX San Antonio reported, stating that "Melissa did attend a workout session," confirmed by Orangetheory employees.
