
A Clarksville community is reeling after a woman was found dead in a home on Tiny Town Road, in a case police are calling a homicide. Authorities confirmed they are actively investigating the incident after responding to the residence around 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Upon arrival, officers discovered the body. Clarksville Police later announced that the death is being treated as a homicide. The identity of the deceased has yet to be released, pending family notification, the department stated, as reported by Fox17.
"This incident has been ruled a homicide and is being actively investigated," said the Clarksville Police in an official news release. The name of the victim is being withheld until the next of kin have been properly informed of the tragedy, according to a news release posted on WSMV.
