Exit Ramp Reopens After Tractor Trailer Rollover on Turnpike in Coconut Creek, No Injuries ReportedSource: Google Street View

Turnpike traffic faced delays Tuesday morning after a tractor trailer rolled over on an exit ramp leading to Coconut Creek Parkway, creating a messy scene, but fortunately not resulting in any injuries. According to WSVN, the southbound turnpike ramp was swimming in debris as fire crews hurried to contain a small fuel leak caused by the accident.

The incident briefly shut down the exit ramp as emergency services worked to quickly clear the scene and to safely reopen the route for commuter traffic. In a similar incident, a crash in Palm Beach County on the northbound turnpike also caused disruptions. The Palm Beach crash led to the off-ramp at Exit 81: Atlantic Avenue/S.R. 806 being closed off, also blocking the right lane and adding to the day's traffic woes, as reported on the traffic monitoring site posted on X by the FL511.

Travelers on Florida's Turnpike were advised to seek alternative routes as crews worked to safely to clear the debris and address both situations. While the ramp off the turnpike in Coconut Creek has been cleared and reopened, traffic authorities remained on high alert to respond to any further incidents that may disrupt the flow of vehicles.
