
A man was shot and critically wounded in the pre-dawn hours on a South Memphis street, triggering a police investigation. The Memphis Police Department raced to the scene on Rayburn Street shortly before 4 a.m. Thursday, after reports of gunfire were made, according to Action News 5.
Upon arrival, officers found an individual suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, whose identity has yet to be released, was swiftly transported to Regional One Hospital where he is listed in critical condition.
