A brazen burglary at a Midtown Walgreens has Metro Nashville Police detectives on the hunt for a trio of pharmacy pillagers. The break-in occurred on May 19 at the 22nd Avenue North location, where thousands of dollars in medications were stolen. Surveillance footage captured three suspects arriving in a white sedan just before the crack of dawn at 4 a.m., with two of them prying their way inside, according to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
The video evidence shows the determined burglars used a pry bar to forcefully gain entry. They then managed to quickly load up on several thousand dollars worth of drugs before hastily making their getaway in the same white sedan, as per the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department. The Midtown Hills Precinct detectives are actively seeking to put names to the faces caught on camera during this early morning heist.
In response to this brazen act, authorities are reaching out to the community for assistance. Anyone with information that could lead to the identification of the suspects has been asked to step forward. "Anyone with information on this burglary is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463," the Nashville government's news release stated, underscoring the importance of civic engagement in the fight against local crime waves.
