A 21-year-old man was cuffed as an accessory in the April slay of a 36-year-old in a Nashville park, police said. Juan Miguel Pulido allegedly played the getaway driver in the murder of Francisco Almazan-Rojas on April 28th at William Pitts Park.

According to the Nashville Police Department, Pulido tailed behind the shooter's vehicle in a Hyundai Sonata, then later ditched Almazan-Rojas’ Ford F-150 truck on Luton Street the cops are still on the hunt for the triggerman and the reason the bullets flew, no one has been fingered as the shooter yet Pulido meanwhile, scored a quick exit from the slammer after posting a $5,000 bond.

Authorities are urging anybody with the scoop on this case to step up. "Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463," the department implored as they press on to piece together this deadly puzzle by getting to the bottom of who blasted Almazan-Rojas and why.

The case remains open with the Homicide Unit’s detectives doggedly digging for answers and justice for Almazan-Rojas; their work is cut out for them, what with the motive and the murderer still lurking in the shadows, but they're determined to lock up whoever is responsible that's the latest word from the streets of Music City.
