Pompano Beach Boulevard is expected to both showcase the successful G.O. Bond initiative and reinforce the city's commitment to public safety and infrastructure.
The G.O. Bond project, having received an overwhelming nod from voters in 2018, has allowed the City to radically upgrade local amenities and safety facilities. The Ocean Rescue Headquarters, part of this initiative, represents just one achievement in this multi-phase effort. According to the City of Pampano Beach official press release, the first phase brought about the design and deployment of eight lifeguard stations, setting the stage for the subsequent design and construction phases of the Ocean Rescue Building itself.
The building's main floor, once a 2,815 square foot space, has been stripped and transformed with an improved floor plan that caters to the operational needs of the Ocean Rescue staff. Their valuable input was key to creating locker room areas, showers, offices, a multi-purpose room, and a newly designed lobby area, ensuring that the workspace is both effective and efficient.
With stunning views of the ocean, the second floor boasts a large meeting room complete with a conference table and chairs, surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows.
