
A fatal collision in Maury County, Tennessee, ended tragically when a head-on crash claimed the life of one individual and left another hospitalized on Sunday. The Maury County Fire Department reported to the scene on Steam Mill Hollow Road around 11:45 A.M. to find two vehicles involved in the crash, where they confirmed the death and the injuries, WKRN reported.
In total, five people were caught up in the incident, with one casualty pronounced dead at the scene, and one more rushed to a trauma center by Maury Regional EMS for urgent care, WSMV disclosed. The other three occupants, refusing hospital treatment, escaped with no need for immediate medical attention.
FOX 17 News reported that the Tennessee Highway Patrol has taken the helm of the investigation into the details of the collision, trying to uncover what led to this deadly encounter. As of now, no other details regarding the identity of the deceased or the circumstances that led to the crash have been released.
