In a dramatic turn of events, singer Sean Kingston's mother, Janice Turner, was arrested during a raid on a Southwest Ranches mansion, linked to accusations against Kingston of not paying for high-end merchandise. According to WSVN, the Broward Sheriff's Office executed the raid on Thursday, surrounding the property that Kingston had been renting.

Turner, 61, was apprehended on multiple fraud and theft charges after aerial footage captured by Chopper 6 showed her being placed in cuffs and escorted into a BSO cruiser. According to NBC Miami, the raid is connected to a lawsuit filed by an attorney for a company alleging that Kingston failed to pay for expensive items, including an entertainment system reportedly worth $150,000 and a 232-inch TV.

The artist, known for his 2007 hit "Beautiful Girls," has been accused by attorney Dennis Card of using his fame to acquire goods without payment. "He's got basically a script, he says that he works with Justin Bieber, and that he obviously puts on a big show here, this is a rental house, he doesn't own it, and he lures people using his celebrity into having them release things without him paying for it and then he simply never pays," Card told NBC Miami.

Luxury cars lined up outside the 15,000-square-foot mansion during the proceedings, with law enforcement present to carry out the search warrant. Card indicated that Turner was not just a bystander but involved in Kingston’s alleged schemes. "She’s complicit in it, she knows what’s going on," he said in a statement obtained by NBC Miami. Kingston, 34, himself reportedly on felony probation for trafficking in stolen property, was not at the home during the raid. Turner previously pleaded guilty to bank fraud charges and served prison time.

Despite the legal turmoil, Kingston took to social media amid the raid, posting on Instagram, "People love negative energy! I am good and so is my mother!.. my lawyers are handling everything as we speak." Turner also runs an Instagram page, "Mama Kingston Kitchen," where she promotes her own brand of sauce and often features her celebrity son, as reported by NBC Miami.
