Around 7 PM, while conducting their routine patrol, the officers stumbled upon the scene, which quickly escalated from an innocuous film set to a serious firearms incident. The quick response of law enforcement potentially averted what could have otherwise been a more severe situation. No one was hurt in the ordeal, and the suspects reportedly did not make any threats, leading to a high-tension yet non-violent resolution.
The bizarre turn of events has raised questions regarding the intentions of the trio and the legitimacy of their explanation as well as concerns over movie production protocols and the secure handling of replica firearms. As investigations continue, the identities of the arrested men have not been released, and it remains unclear whether any of them has a background in legitimate film production or if they have obtained the necessary permits for handling such equipment in a public space.
