From May 19 to 22, nocturnal disruptions to I-95 Northbound traffic between Pembroke Rd and Hollywood Blvd are on the calendar, with phased closures kicking in as the night deepens. The squeeze starts at 9:30 p.m. when the highway’s first lane goes dark, followed by the second at 10:30 p.m., and by 11 p.m. it's lights out for all lanes, unwinding only as the clock hits 5 a.m.
Detours are in place to get motorists around the blockade, with I-95 Northbound escapees being shunted via the SR 9/I-95 northbound exit ramp towards SR 824/Pembroke Road, according to the City of Hollywood's, drivers who choose the eastward path will find their way through South Dixie Highway and onto SR 820/Hollywood Boulevard while those steering west are directed via SR 7/US 441 and, ultimately, to SR 820/Hollywood Boulevard.
For the safety of both the road warriors and traffic crews, if you're coursing through the SR 9/I-95 northbound managed lanes, you'll be ushered out at Ives Dairy Road, the detour's rules are clear there's no re-entering the managed lanes until reaching SR 736/Davie Boulevard.
