A Miami bowling alley turned into a chaotic scene early Tuesday morning when a brawl broke out, leading to a woman being struck unconscious by a bowling ball. The violent incident occurred at the Lucky Strike bowling alley in downtown Miami and was captured on cellphone footage which has now made rounds on social media.

According to WSVN, the Miami Police were alerted to the bedlam at around 12:45 a.m., but by the time they made the scene, both the victim and suspect had disappeared. The video taken by a bystander shows drinks and punches being thrown before a bowling ball was hurled, hitting a woman in the head who then, collapsed onto the ground. Miami Police spokesperson Michael Vega told WSVN, "Bowling balls were being thrown left and right." He also said, "It’s incredible that someone just had a little concussion but this could have caused a death to someone," acknowledging the potential severity of the injuries sustained.

Officials are now on the hunt for both the woman who was struck and the person who threw the bowling ball, as they could be facing several charges. The suspect may be charged with aggravated battery for the attack, and both individuals could also face criminal mischief for property damage caused during the fray, as Lucky Strike had just celebrated its grand opening at the end of March.

Local 10 News reported that while no arrests have been made as of Tuesday evening, police were canvassing the area for witnesses and talking to the security guards. The footage, posted to "Only in Dade" captures a tumultuous sequence of projectiles and punches ultimately culminating in the frightening moment of impact. Local 10 News reached out to Lucky Strike for a comment and was still awaiting a response.
