Authorities were alerted to the emergency at a property on the 4700 block of Northwest 18th Street at about 7:30 p.m., with Lauderhill Police officers arriving to find the child having already been pulled from the water by relatives; the family members had begun life-saving CPR efforts before the first responders could take over, WSVN reported.
