The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) has intensified its efforts to locate Kathleen Zulla, an 83-year-old woman reported missing from Dania Beach, as concerns for her safety escalate. According to BSO as mentioned in a WSVN report, Zulla was last seen Tuesday around 11:40 a.m. in the vicinity of the 400 block of Southeast 10th Street. She is a woman of petite stature, described as about 5 feet, 1 inch tall, and weighing near 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
Particularly troubling is the fact that Zulla has been reported to suffer from memory lapses and is under medication for her medical issues. She was last observed wearing a black and white shirt, black pants, and was driving a distinct black/grey 2012 Chevy Camaro, with the Florida license plate Y85XHC. The vehicle may stand out, as Camaros are not typically associated with the octogenarian demographic, and this may hopefully aid witnesses in recalling if they have seen Zulla.
The BSO is urging anyone with knowledge about the whereabouts of Kathleen Zulla to get in touch. BSO Detective Leonard Charla is the leading investigator on this case.
