Arlene, who was last seen leaving her home on foot in the vicinity of the 800 block of N Lockwood Ave in Chicago, suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, posing increased concern for her well-being. She has been described as a black female, with grey hair, brown eyes, approximately 5 feet 4 inches tall, and weighing about 170 pounds.
At the time of her disappearance, Arlene Hall was donning a pink t-shirt, red or orange pants, and conspicuously, green shoes with yellow laces, the Chicago Police Department detailed in a missing person bulletin. Additionally, a white hospital band was on her left forearm, which might aid in identifying her. She was also carrying a white plastic bag and a purple plastic bag.
The situation is distressing for the community and Hall's family, given her health conditions. Authorities are urging anyone with information on Hall's whereabouts to immediately contact Area Four SVU at 312-746-8251.
