For so long, we’ve made announcements about things that are coming to Mt. Juliet. (People have said) that’s nice, but I was really looking for a Costco," as he told WSMV.
According to details from Wilson County Source, the festivities commenced early in the morning with remarks from elected officials and Costco representatives followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting. The grand opening, held on June 6th, invited shoppers to explore a variety of products, including groceries and electronics, and take advantage of grand opening exclusive promotions and discounts.
Dubbed as a "Disney World for adults", the Costco in Mt. Juliet received pre-opening coverage, offering an exclusive glimpse of what patrons could anticipate, from the traditional $1.50 hot dogs to the array of bulk-buying options. Online buzz centered around the array of in-store experiences, including product samplings. "A lot of people call it Disney World for adults," said Cat Barrett, Membership Manager for Mt. Juliet's Costco, in an interview with News 2.
