Four individuals have been taken into custody on sexual assault charges involving a minor in San Antonio, Texas. The arrests, confirmed by FOX San Antonio, mark a disturbing development in a case that began with a family's report of their missing 15-year-old daughter on June 20.
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office stated that the teen was located and returned to her family, however, during the probe, investigators uncovered explicit text messages between the girl and, at least four adult males. The texts led authorities to suspect that the young girl, who was only 14 at the time of the alleged incidents, suffered sexual assault by each of the individuals: 21-year-old Tyler Battros, 19-year-old Logan Martinez, 18-year-old Ethan Gregory Flemming, and 18-year-old Gabriel Angel Velasquez.
Each of the accused faces one count of Sexual Assault of a Child and has been booked into Bexar County Jail. The incidents are believed to have occurred as early as August 2023, with investigators highlighting that additional charges are not off the table, either for the current defendants or any others who may be implicated as the investigation proceeds.
Authorities are meticulously piecing together the timeline and extent of the alleged assaults. In their statement, representatives from the Sheriff's Office have not discounted the possibility of more charges, or of involving other individuals. "The Bexar County Sheriff's Office has not yet ruled out additional charges for these four suspects, or charges on anyone else they believe also assaulted the victim," detailed FOX San Antonio in their reporting on this case.
