Authorities are on the lookout for an individual in connection with an assault and battery case involving a dangerous weapon, described as a "shod foot," at Porter Square station, Cambridge. The incident, which occurred around 5 PM on May 11, was made public by the MBTA Transit Police, who are now seeking the public's assistance to identify the person of interest.
The MBTA Transit Police took to Twitter, sharing a surveillance image and requesting anyone with information to come forward, "Recognize this person interest? pls contact our CIU at 617-222-1050 w/any info you have." They assure witnesses they can remain anonymous while contributing to the case, the urgency of their request palpable as the suspect remains unidentified, the incident hangs in the air, unresolved and perturbing, a ghost over the everyday commuters’ heads.
