
A young boy, no more than three years old, was found by the National City Police Department, and an alert has been issued to identify and reunite him with his family, authorities announced.
The Hispanic male toddler, described as about three feet tall with brown hair and eyes, was found alone without any apparent guardian. According to the San Diego Sheriff's Office, the child wore a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray shirt, jeans, and shoes. Notably, he was also wearing a bracelet inscribed "Josue." The National City Police took to X to seek the public’s help, urging anyone who knows the child to come forward.

The community has been asked to remain vigilant and to spread the word in hopes that someone will recognize the young boy whose identity remains a mystery. Authorities have not released information regarding where the toddler was found or the circumstances leading up to his discovery.
In a plea that tugged at the community's heartstrings, the San Diego Sheriff asked people to "please contact the National City Police Department" if they had any information regarding the juvenile.
