
On Monday, Ramsey County officially rolled out the welcome mat for 26 interns joining various county departments through the Right Track program operated by the city of Saint Paul. According to an announcement on the county's website, interns will be dispersed amongst 23 different departments where they'll immerse themselves in the inner workings of government operations from handling subpoena and audio requests to engaging in community outreach at job fairs.
The program's diverse curriculum includes a close look into critical functions such as 911 call processing, accounts payable, and receivable, alongside communications and public relations. Interns will also delve into data collection crucial for property tax assessments and get their hands dirty in the nitty-gritty of park, property management, and maintenance.
