The Bexar County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking information to help locate 20-year-old Richard Acevedo, who has been identified as a suspect in an assault case involving his girlfriend, this according to a recent incident report. Acevedo is wanted on a charge of assault bodily injury. FOX San Antonio reports the assault occurred on June 24, when deputies were called to a residence in far North Bexar County.
Upon arrival at the scene, authorities learned from the victim that Acevedo had allegedly become violent during an argument that escalated while the two were in a car, the dispute ostensibly over accusations of infidelity, Acevedo’s reaction was to assault his girlfriend resulting in injuries to her face; the assault reportedly included choking until the victim resorted to biting his finger, which then allowed her to escape his grasp. "She had visible bloody injuries to her face from the assault," according to the deputy's report. Richard Acevedo had fled the area before law enforcement officers could apprehend him.
