Early yesterday morning in Miami's Liberty City neighborhood, an SUV crashed into a house on Northwest 51st Street and 10th Avenue. The incident, which occurred around 7:40 a.m., left a clear mark of disruption as a white Mustang Mach-E was found lodged inside the residence, according to WSVN. The impact created a noticeable hole in the structure and also damaged a white fence that surrounded the property.
Miami Fire Rescue along with City of Miami Police promptly responded to the scene. Upon their arrival, they found the SUV embedded into the front of the home, with its hazard lights intermittent flicker. NBC Miami reported that despite the chaos, there were no injuries sustained during the incident. Paramedics evaluated a 59-year-old woman who, while apparently shaken, refused transport to the hospital.
Authorities are now working to understand what led to the crash. Both the driver's identity and the circumstances leading up to the event remain under scrutiny by the officials. As of now, it has not been disclosed whether the driver is in custody or if any charges are anticipated in relation to the crash. Video footage from the scene showed the SUV with its hazard lights on, while members of the fire department were seen sawing off part of the white gate that encircles the house.
