A fatal single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a 54-year-old woman and sent a 7-month-old baby to the hospital on yesterday afternoon in unincorporated St. Lucie County. The crash sequence began when the woman's 2013 Ford Edge veered off the roadway onto the northbound grass shoulder, eventually colliding with a mailbox before overturning.
