The tranquil breeze, northeast around 10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph, follows through to Thursday, offering sunny skies and a high nearing 76. Error aside, the forecast also indicates a clear Thursday night with temperatures stooping around 64 degrees.
Heading into the weekend, Chicagoans can anticipate continued sunny conditions on Friday with a comfy high near 78, escalating to a balmy 82 degrees by Saturday. The National Weather Service’s Hazardous Weather Outlook has also mentioned a limited thunderstorm risk starting Sunday, stretching through to Tuesday, bringing back the possibility of showers and thunderstorms.
Moving into the latter part of the week, the area should enjoy a period of drier, less humid conditions from Thursday to Saturday before the "very warm/hot, humid, and at times stormy pattern," resumes on Sunday, as noted by the NWS Chicago.
