The Chicago Police Department alongside the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force apprehended Hudson on the morning of July 21.

The arrest, which took place at 8:14 a.m. in the 5800 block of S. Maryland, came after Hudson was identified as one of the suspects involved in a fatal shooting earlier that day.

The shooting occurred in the 7600 block of S. Halsted within the jurisdiction of the 6th District. Following the incident, the suspect was taken into custody without additional information being released at the time, as per the Chicago Police Department.
