The Children’s Trust Family Expo, an event synonymous with community engagement and family support, returned this past weekend at Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens. The expo, known for providing a connection between local families and an array of resources, rings in the summer with festivities that appeal to both youthful exuberance and the practical needs of parents.

According to WSVN, "The Children’s Trust is a funder of programs for children and families," Natalia Zea with The Children’s Trust conveyed. She added, "We work with the community, and we’re dedicated to serving all of their different needs, because we know being a parent is hard enough, and we can all use a little bit of help."

The expo offers a smorgasbord of activities, balancing entertainment with the more serious business of connecting attendees with nonprofit organizations, health services, and educational programs.
