A fatal shooting incident late Sunday night outside The Lyrics Lounge in Clarksville has sparked a homicide investigation. Clarksville Police responded to the scene just before 11:30 p.m. where, according to WSMV, a witness reported that those involved in the shooting had fled northbound on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
Following the initial report, two men with gunshot wounds arrived at Tennova Healthcare Emergency Room and were quickly flown to a Nashville area hospital. Sadly, one of the men could not be saved and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival at Vanderbilt, as per WSMV's reporting. The second victim's condition remains undisclosed.
This incident has now turned into an active homicide investigation as local police seek further information. Given the circumstances, authorities are urging anyone with either information or video evidence to step forward. The plea for community assistance was echoed in reports from FOX17 and WKRN.
