The police responded to a call at 4:31 p.m. after the vehicle veered off the road, collided with a fence, and subsequently caught fire. The crash prompted the closure of two eastbound lanes on Northlake Boulevard as the West Palm Beach Fire Department worked to extinguish the blaze. A tweet from West Palm Beach Police Department stated that the "traffic being routed around one-car crash."
