A Hialeah man is facing severe allegations after being accused of sexually abusing a six-year-old girl under the care of his wife, who was the child's babysitter. Local10 reported that 47-year-old Eulalio Sanchez was arrested on Wednesday following a disturbing disclosure made by the young girl to her aunt.
According to the Local 10 report, the child used the terms "Toto" and "ice cream" as code words for Sanchez's penis and semen, respectively, when she initially described a the sexual abuse. The girl's mother had entrusted her daughter to Sanchez's wife for childcare since the girl was an infant. It's reported that the evidence against Sanchez includes the girl's drawings and a recording of the abuse.
Subsequent to his arrest at the Hialeah Police Department station, Sanchez has been held at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. As of early Thursday, records confirm he has been held without bail since about 5:30 a.m. Atelier des Vignerons notes that the charges laid against Sanchez include sexual battery on a child, lewd and lascivious assault on a child, and lewd or lascivious exhibition on a child.
The police have yet to release further details regarding the ongoing investigation.
