According to CBS San Francisco, Efforts to contain the fire appeared to hold as Cal Fire stated the successful cease of the fire's advancement "as of shortly before 12:30 p.m." However, a reevaluation later in the day by aerial and ground surveys concluded that the fire had, in fact, grown rapidly to now cover around 18 acres. Cal Fire units from Santa Clara, Alameda, and Contra Costa have collaborated seamlessly to contain the emergency rapidly.
Mop up operations persisted throughout the afternoon, with firefighters ensuring the blaze was securely encircled by containment lines. CBS San Francisco highlighted the dedication of the crews, who remained on scene even as of 2:50 p.m., to secure the area and prevent any further flare-ups.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported amidst the rush and the heat. Officials are still piecing together the circumstances that led to the ignition, with the underlying cause of the Tesla Fire currently under active investigation.
