Residents of Tamarac were met with an unexpected disruption this early morning, as a two-car collision rattled the eastbound lanes of W Commercial Boulevard at 64th Avenue. According to NBC Miami, the crash involved one of the vehicles plowing into the exterior wall of a home, leaving debris scattered in its wake. The circumstances surrounding the violent crash remained unclear as Police began their investigation into the incident.
Not long after the collision at around 6:30 a.m., 7News reported that thankfully no one was outside when one of the cars careened through a wall and into a resident's backyard. Hovering over the aftermath, 7Skyforce captured the remnants of the wreck with eastbound traffic on Commercial Boulevard temporarily shut down while authorities were at the scene.
As the area was canvased by emergency responders, questions loomed concerning the drivers' conditions, which had not been reported immediately following the incident. Despite the severity of the crash, it was a stroke of fortune that no pedestrians were caught in the chaos, especially considering the time of the accident during early morning routine when people could be starting their daily commutes or children heading to school.
By midday, both vehicles had been cleared, and the rhythm of traffic was restored to its normal flow. While the silence of the aftermath hinted at the earlier tumult, the full extent of the consequences for those involved remained a gap in the narrative. Officials from the Broward Sheriff's Office were being reached out to by 7News for more detailed information regarding injuries or fatalities, as the community awaited answers.
