The rescue operation was swift, with fire officials sharing an update at 6:31 a.m. that one adult had been successfully pulled from the near-perilous grasp of the Bay. "SFFDEMS is assessing the victim who will be taken to an area hospital for non-life-threatening issues", SFFD stated in their social media announcement, indicating a favorable outcome in what could have been a grave situation.
