Ramseur was confronted by the Catawba County’s Special Tactics and Response team as part of an effort to arrest him on several charges including second-degree kidnapping, common-law robbery, felony larceny, misdemeanor larceny, communicating threats, and injury to personal property he also had an outstanding domestic violence protective order against him.
