WSMV reports that City Commissioner Scott Hefner confirmed the news, noting that the steakhouse, famous for its baskets of freshly baked rolls and signature honey cinnamon butter, will be neighbored by the newly opened Costco off Golden Bear Gateway and Rutland Road. This new entrant to the local dining scene joins other Texas Roadhouse restaurants that pepper Middle Tennessee, including those in Murfreesboro, Hendersonville, Spring Hill, and Cookeville.
According to The Tennessean, the pre-application meeting was represented, Mark Lineberry of Lineberry Developments also verified signing a lease for the upcoming Texas Roadhouse venue. He said, outlining the planning stage that lies ahead, with the city's planning commission to review the site plan in the forthcoming months. As the local community anticipates Texas Roadhouse's well-known menu offerings, the brand continues to expand its footprint, boasting more than 600 locations worldwide.
Mt. Juliet's dining and business landscape is seeing more than just the introduction of Texas Roadhouse. A Burger King restaurant on Lebanon Road is set for a temporary closure as it undergoes a comprehensive remodel, which includes interior and exterior modernization and will introduce a new double drive-thru. To keep up with the times, this Burger King location, operating since the 1980s, will shut its doors after Sunday, as indicated by General Manager Resenda Ballentine. The project is slated for completion in about 60 days with a reopening planned around September, a commitment to renewing the brand for local patrons.
Meanwhile, as patrons of Texas Roadhouse look forward to indulging in ribeyes and rolls, other businesses in Mt. Juliet are also evolving. Nook, a local establishment, has opened a second store, expanding its presence in the community. While these development plans continue to unfold, social media updates and official announcements from city representatives and business owners parallel the burgeoning commercial growth witnessed in Mt. Juliet, marking a favorable turn for the local economy and residents alike.
