Halloween is inching closer and Universal Orlando is spicing up its Halloween Horror Nights with a captivating twist—an all-female lineup of Classic Universal Monsters. The reveal of "Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines" marks the 10th and final house announced for this year's fear-fest, according to a report by ClickOrlando. Stepping into this narrative, guests will walk alongside Saskia Van Helsing, daughter of the legendary vampire hunter, as she confronts Countess Marya, the vengeful daughter of Dracula. This house is not just about lineage and revenge, it's an immersive experience of the struggle between predator and prey.
What we are witnessing here is not your typical 'ghouls jumping out of the dark' horror house. "Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines" introduces us to a sinister alliance formed between Countess Marya, invoking the spirit of 1936′s “Dracula’s Daughter,” the She-Wolf from 1946’s “She-Wolf of London,” and Princess Anck-Su-Namun of the 1932 classic "The Mummy." These famed characters are mustering their strength to annihilate the Van Helsing legacy. In an unusual turn of events, Saskia Van Helsing finds an ally in The Bride of Frankenstein, Orlando Weekly detailed.
The event also features two scare zones teeming with demonic power and monstrous femininity. "The Duality of Fear" zone, populated by SINIST3R and SURR3AL, invites you to choose your chilling adventure right at the park's gates, while "The Demon Queens" zone reigns with four formidable queens and their devoted sect, as reported by ClickOrlando.
Amidst the resurgence of Universal's Classic Monsters, including a peek at Epic Universe’s "Dark Universe" featuring Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, the unfolding of Halloween Horror Nights sets a new tone for the seasonal event. Slated to begin on Aug. 30 and running through Nov. 3, the occasion offers a 'Premium Scream Night' for those preferring less crowded encounters and shorter wait times.
