Boulder County is getting ready to dive into National Workforce Development Month this September with a series of virtual and in-person events aimed at bolstering its job market and providing valuable resources to its citizens. Workforce Boulder County (WfBC) is teaming up with the Colorado Department of Labor, the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office, and various community partners to bring these initiatives to life.

According to Boulder County, these events will range from career fairs to hiring panels, all set to promote the many facets of the workforce ecosystem in the area. Participants interested in attending any event or workshop offered by WfBC need to register through Connecting Colorado to partake in the activities planned throughout the month.

Some upcoming events include a Metro Area Career Fair, a Second Chance Hiring Panel, and a special panel focusing on the growing sector of green jobs. Boulder County Commissioner Marta Loachamin said, as per Boulder County," Workforce Boulder County continues to be an integral way for residents to access opportunities of employment and education. I’m hopeful that folks will participate in this month of celebration and learning as we continue to share important resources more broadly throughout Boulder County.”
